Description

Presenting a Pair of Asian/China Skrimshaw Earrings with coral and black beads accent
earrings are 1 inch or a little over 1 inch in length WITHOUT the Earwires they are for pierced ears
Earrings look to be 1940s era
Earrings have a etched design one side is butterfly/flowers on the reverse is a leafy design perhaps bamboo leaves? Very Nice Patina on these earrings they are accented with tiny coral beads (which do have wear or a slight chipping dont think you can see this with the naked eye as I used a 10x loupe) there is also 2 faceted black beads which could be onyx? Jade? It is some type of stone or glass I am unsure what these beads are... The Earwires are a silvertone metal I have not tested the metal they could be sterling silver but again I am unsure they are not hallmarked Very nice these Asian Earrings are getting harder and harder to find
