Vintage Chinese Sterling Silver Filigree Lapis 1.25" Wide 52g Bracelet
This sale is for a finely made and striking, sterling and natural Lapis bracelet, that was made in China during the 1970's - 80's.This piece is marked on the back of the clasp "China BJ 925", it tests positive for sterling and the stones are natural Lapis. This bracelet has an inside circumference 7", it is 1.25" wide at its widest point, and is 1/4" thick at its thickest point. The hidden push clasp works smoothly and securely - I think its possible that the tongue of the clasp was repaired at some point. This piece is constructed from two domed links that are very solid and firm wrapping around your wrist nicely when worn. The bracelet has a bold and intricate filigree design that is accented with Lapis all around the bracelet. The lapis is domed in shape, smooth at the top, and juts out nicely from the base of the bracelet. The largest stone measures 1/2" long. There are no chips to the Lapis, they all look original to the piece, and the surfaces are vibrant with a nice sheen. There are no irregularities to the silver, no signs of solder or repair, and the piece has a very bright patina.
