Vintage Chinese Sterling Silver Vermeil Filigree Natural Coral Enamel Bracelet
This sale is for a finely made and colorful, sterling silver and coral bracelet, that was made in China during the 1940's - 50's.This piece is marked "silver" on the back of the tongue, tests positive for sterling, and weighs 25 grams. The bracelet measures 6 7/8" long, is 5/8" wide at its widest point, and is a bit fuller than 1/4" thick at its thickest point. The bracelet closes securely with its original hidden push clasp and has safety chain loops but no safety chain. This piece is special for the color combination of the leafy green enamel design with the bright pink natural turquoise. The larger coral stones are 8mm long and the smaller stones are 3.5mm in diameter. The coral is slightly domed in shape and is of a fine quality. The coral is beautifully matched in a dark and rich pink color with a very high sheen and luster. There is no surface wear or irregularities to the coral and the enamel is very bright, 95% intact with very little wear and thinning. The silver filigree is tightly woven without any dents or irregularities to the filigree and the piece has a bright patina without any wear to the gold vermeil. The color contrast between the coral, the bright green enamel, and the gold wash on the silver is striking when worn. Overall this is a finely made and colorful, sterling silver and coral bracelet, that was made in China during the 1940's - 50's that is in Excellent condition.
