You are offerding on this great original civil war document pictured above.This is a letterwrittenin 1861 from Camp Giddings in Jefferson city,Ashtabula County Ohio.The letter is on great letterhead,written on both sides.Included in this sale is a typed transcript of the letter. Thisis truly a rare find and a great piece of history.Even if you do not offer on this item,I invite you to read the letter as it gives an account of the troubled times of a lonely soldier.Super piece of history. This is a part of a collection of civil war items I am listing this week on .
