***PLEASE READ ALL INFO BEFORE offerDING!!!***Up for sale is yet another authentic...extremely RARE ...stunning ...Herbert Sondheim dress! So flattering to the figure! This dress is in excellent condition for its age with only light to minimal wear! The only things to note... there is a tiny spot under where a belt would/may be. It\'s on the side. Besides...it\'s not noticeable and with a good dry cleaning, it will probably come out. Also, a belt loop is half missing on one side. Easy fix or just remove the other. I DO have the original belt BUT... the back is leather and is peeling. It would need to be mended before wear or it will shed all over the dress. A leather repair shop or shoe shop can fix this. Or.... wear adifferentbelt or no belt. : ) See the last 2 photos. It fastens up the back with buttons and a metal zipper. It\'s a pull-over or you can step into it. There are thin shoulder pads...typical for the 40\'s! The underarms flare...again..typical 40\'s! I had a hard time photographing these colors and fabric texture for some reason so I couldn\'t capture it. This came from a Louisiana plantation home and it\'s only one of the many fine and rare items I have to list from this exquisite estate! I also have more Sondheim to come! Please keep checking back!
This dress would fit a small to extra small frame... measurements are when laid flat and measured across....Waist -12.5 to 13 inches across
Bust - 17 inches across (measured underarm to underarm) This is HARD to measure because there\'s such a flare! So it\'s approximate.
Hips - 18 inches across when lightly pulled.
Length from shoulder towaist - 15.5 inchesLength from waist to bottom of dress is 31.5 inches
