Vintage Cowichan Curling Zipper Sweater W/ Duck Front & Back, 25" Across Chest For Sale

Vintage Cowichan Curling Zipper Sweater W/ Duck Front & Back, 25

We believe this is a Mallard duck taking flight from a grassy, green swamp, large on the back, smaller on the front: please check the pics and close-up and you be the judge.
The Cowichan sweaters have been made in Canada by Cowichan weavers, members of one of the tribes of the First Nation. Over the years the sweaters became popular among players of the winter game known as curling, and therefore they are called either Cowichan or Curling Sweaters, in fashion parlance. They came back as a fashion statement and notoriety in the 1990's thanks to the cult classic "The Big Lebowski", where this character, played by Jeff Bridges, wears a Pendleton Cowichan inspired sweater with shawl collar an a Native-American geometric design.
The sweater for sale today, please notice, does not have a shawl collar, but a very thick, double rolled collar.
The zipper is a vintage bronze Talon. The sweater has a cream-colored satin lining which is also in good condition, but it has a mark left by what seems to be a label which is not there anymore.
It measures 23" across the chest, pit to pit; 33" from collar seam to edge of cuff (it has raglan sleeves); 28" from collar seam to edge of sweater, along the back. It is very heavy, as it is made of thick, heavy wool yarn.
