Vintage Deco Ronson Enamel Compact/Lighter Duo
Bright Silvertone accents...Tortoise Base and Lid Surround...The Deco Lid is Deep Aqua Enamel with a Center, Unmonogrammed, Cartouche' framed in a Silvertone Diamond Shape which is etched in a Floral pattern...a Stripe in Micro Linear/Scallop Engine Turning completes the lid design.
Dimensions: 2 3/8" x 3"...slightly bowed sides
Mirror: Framed and Intact with clouding...Reflective quality is diminished
& Clasp...In fine order
Sides: Bright Polished Silvertone...light wear with slight indents on right and left side and screw (relates to lighter?) missing on left side
Lighter: Please note, I know nothing about lighters, description to the best of my ability. Does not currently light, guessing in need of fluid, wick and flint. There is a screw missing on the left side edge, believe this relates to the lighter. Signed Ronson on lighter
Interior: Bright Silvertone...Engine Turned Well Surround...Open Powder Well, no puff. Signed on well surround...Ronson, Art Metal Works, Inc, Newark NJ, USA. Base: Thin Silvertone Edges...two slight dips, one on each side. Mottled Tortoise Enamel (looks black in photo, apologies, unable to capture color properly)...very light indent (approx 1/2" in length) right side...three pinhead loss dots, minor scuff and light scratches...Nice Sheen has been retained
Lid: Bright Silvertone Edges and Lid Frame...Excellent. Tortoise insets...one pinhead loss dot...otherwise Excellent and Nice Shine. Aqua Lid Enamel, one pinhead dip, left side visible when held at an angle...the Enamel is Intact with slight wear, High Shine. Silvertone Deco Center...light scratches to Cartouche'...otherwise Excellent
