This is a diagram sewing pattern for a wonderful yet very easy to make 1920s flapper dress. Those of you who are watching the new series of Downton Abbey will see that it is now set in the early 1920s and the dresses that the ladies wear are becoming low waisted and very much like these.....its a very stylish dress to wear, and apparently you could make it in less than an hour!A diagram pattern means that there are no actual paper pieces and a diagram or chart or written instructions is given with measurements so that you can easily cut out the paper pattern yourself. This pattern in particular uses very simple shapes. Instructions of how to make the item are also given. We have many vintage sewing patterns listed here too so please take a look at our other lovely itemsThis pattern - which has many pages-is printed out on ivory paper and sealed in a clear cello bag.
