I read the history of Dunkin Donuts trying to find information about the donut man on the front of the mug. This guy is called \"Dunkie Man\" and he was the Dunkin Donuts logo in the late 1950s and 1960s but the mug has instructions for microwave usage so it obviously doesn\'t date back to that time.

So, this is probably a much later design item, meant to be nostalgic. It is shaped and has the heaviness of an old diner style mug- chunky, hefty, substantial. It stands 3-1/2\" tall and has a nice thick handle. One side has the Dunkie man (he is composed of donuts with a coffee cup as his mid-section) and the other side has the typical Dunkin Donuts logo. These are in brown and the mug is an ivory off white color.
