Vintage Enesco Music Mice-tro Deluxe Action Music Box Polonaise Grand Piano $750 For Sale

Music Mice-Tro was featured in the 1994 Enesco Catalog and has long been retired and of course, Enesco has been gone for some time. This fine deluxe action music box collectible was a display item that remained inside a enclosed glass case at a fine boutique gift shop in Toluca Lake, CA. It was one of several collectibles at the store which the owner gave to my late aunt Mimi who was a sales manager at the store for over 35 years. It is missing the small conductor's baton which isn't noticeable, but this is the reason i have priced this very valuable collector item so low. I have seen only 2 like this for sale---one which is currently available online at collectible items dot com for $750, and the other which recently sold on for $350. Description: The mice-tro turns and the musical ensemble moves into action, gently turning in tempo to the music of "Polonaise." The graceful ballerina and her partner perform their dance along the moving keys of the elaborately decorated grand piano. The drummer tilts to and fro, pounding a steady rhythm on his tympani. The harpist sways back and forth as she plays a melody. It's a symphony of exquisite detail and remarkable motion, as performers and conductor reach a crescendo of presentation worthy of Carnegie Hall. It is one of the most elegant of Enesco's musicals and it is sure to be treasured.
