Vintage Estate Ming's Of Honolulu Sterling Silver Panel Bracelet 51.3g Signed Nr For Sale
Jewelry from Ming's of Honolulu is valued because of its impeccable quality, and undiminished value. Ming's opened in Hawaii in 1941, just months before the outbreak of WWII. The images of the Hawaiian plumeria, bamboo and materials such as jade, pearls, gold and sterling silver have made Ming's (no longer in business, sadly) some of the most important pieces of jewelry you can acquire. They are beautiful, wearable investments that do not lose value.Here we have a solid sterling silver bracelet, marked "MING'S" and "Sterling" on separate links. We believe this bracelet is from the early 1950s to mid-1960s, judging by the patina and construction. Design: 6 panels with five bamboo leaves, one bamboo stalk and a bamboo border. Each panel is 1 inch by 7/8ths inch. The panels have a slight curve to fit comfortably around the arm. There are 7mm wide, grooved links connecting the panels.Length of the bracelet is approximately 7.7 inches. The safety chain is set under silver solder, and not detachable. The bracelet is large enough to fit most wrists.Weight of the bracelet is a substantial 51.3 grams.
