Vintage Estate Stanwell Zebrano Bent Egg Shaped Pipe Some Issues But Nice:

A former owner did some glue work on the shank, but a very stylish design! About 6” long, bowl is 2” tall, 1 3/4” wide tapering to 1 1/4” at rim. ID 13/16”, depth 1 3/4”. Marked on one side of shank STANWELL Zebrano (script), other side 232, beneath shank MADE IN DENMARK. A capital S topped with a crown is stamped on side of bit. No other marks detected.

Saddle bit is well-seated push fit with space for 9mm filter, cleaned and polished, showing a tooth mark above and below. Stummel has beautiful grain of walnut color with a blonde wood spacer on shank (a crack beneath). Some dings, scratches and some glue on surface. Slightly scorched rim and clean bowl. Some refinishing could bring out even more beauty, but smokable as is!
