Every once in awhile, I luck out and find one of these most unusual, large Etruscan fob charms; in this case, it is on a kindred Etruscan bracelet. I think that the red cabochons on the fob and on the bracelet are red coral, although they could be art glass. The detail is incredible. The fob charm, which is 1 1/2" wide and just over 1 3/8" tall, is made of intricate and sturdy filigree to which Etruscan cannetille circles and other shapes have been added. The bracelet, marked 935 (better than sterling), features more bezel-set coral red stones, as well as Etruscan florets, all on a black enamel base. This is one of those special pieces that got me into vintage jewelry in the first place. Hard to find. Easy and fun to wear. The bracelet measures 7 3/4" x just over 1/4" wide, at 5/16" to be exact.
