You are offerding on an awesome vintage farmhouse egg basket made from orange plastic coated iron wire. The iron handle does not have any coating and I am not sure it ever did, although there are remnants of the plastic coating near the base on both sides of the handle, so perhaps it may have been coated at one time.
Overall, this item is in very good \"vintage\" condition, with appropriate wear, such as some areas of plastic coating loss ( see photos). However, this is still a very sturdy and functional basket that also makes a terrific decorative piece.
The basket stands 7 1/2\" tall and has a 14\" diameter which tapers down to an 8 1/2\" diameter at the base. When the handle is straight up, it measures 18\"\' from the base to the center of the handle.
