Vintage Fifties Signed Coro Forget-me-Not Demi Parure/Necklace/ Earrings
The necklace in this pretty combination measures approx. 17" and is fastened by means of a sheperd's hook and chain which can be adjusted downwards. The earrings are a screw back fitting.
In the form of forget-me-nots each flower has a central sparkling rhinestone - there are extra claw set rhinestones around the flowers in the earrings and the seperators in the necklace are all bright sparkling stones which are also claw set. The main material is a form of plastic - possibly lucite.
Over the years some of the adhesive used to set the stones in the centre of the flowers has become slightly discoloured with age. Not really noticeable but easily rectified should the new owner decide to do so.
The back plates of the earrings and the back of the shepherd's hook bear the famous Coro signature.
