You are viewing a beautiful figurine, produced by Gerold Porzellan between 1939-49 in Tettau Bavaria, West Germany. The figurine features a rearing horse in white with grey spots. The Gerold green stamp on the bottom confirms the age of the piece. The mold is 6083 IV, as there were several versions of a rearing horse produced by Gerold. The IV indicates that this was version 4.
This item is used, but is still in very good condition. There are no chips, cracks or scratches. There seems to be a few spots where the glaze is rough on the tips of the ears and mane and one side of the tail. I\'m assuming this is a manufacturer defect. I have taken pics.
Measurements are 5.5\" tall x 4.25\" at it\'s widest point.
