Vintage art deco glass picture frame.This is an interesting piece, as theart deco designis printed on the back of the glass. There are metal clips at each corner to hold it to the easelback. They are slightly tarnished. Dave put a Zoe Mozert pin-up greeting card inside and it really made it "pop." I will leave the card inside for the buyer. The card is blank inside.Third picture shows frame without picture. Measures 8-1/8" x 10."Good condition; glass does not appear to be scratched, however, easel back is broken off and can be seen in the second picture, so itwill not stand on its own.

Dave was an artist/illustrator who created "The Rocketeer", as well as illustrating countless comic book covers in the 80's. He is known for his "good girl" art, most notably drawing Bettie Page as his favorite female subject. Davedied on March 11th, 2008, and left a whole lot of cool stuff behind. The majority of it has been in mini-storage- andhis familydidn't have the heart to take truckloads of it to GoodWill. After sitting on it for over a year,his mother andsisteragreed to put it up for sale to let friends and fans have a "special something" from his estate. Each item will come with a numbered Certificate of Authenticity. If the items are sold as a lot, one certificate will be given for the entire lot. Any questions, please do not hesitate to ask.
