Vintage Go Kart 580 West Bend racing parts. This listing is for a collection of parts from a very successful racing team of the 1960's. Crankcase stuffing, cylinder porting, loop scavaging and utilizing Power Products cyld. heads on WB's was their claim to fame. Some of these parts are just plug and play in other 580's, some will require restoration e.g. 50 year old Devcon stuffing and some can be used as a template by a good machinist to increase/improve the performance of other 580's. Below to the best of my knowledge are the part descriptions. Full Circle Crank with right hand threads. This is not a hose clamp full of epoxy - this is a beautiful balanced piece with Aluminum throws. The rest of this short block includes con rod, flat top piston, WB ignition & case, flywheel, air shroud and block drilled for Power Product Super 58 heads.The second short block has a standard crank (not full circle) with left hand threads, Mac flywheel and ignition, con rod, flat piston, air shroud, case and exhaust header. This block also has the special cooling fin which was an integral part of using a PP head.The third block was an early version of their removable head project using a West Bend head removed from a one piece WB block.
