Payment & Shipping Information:
Payment is due no more than 2 calendar days following the close of the sale for regular listings.
For Buy It Now items, payment is due immediately. If this is problematic for some reason, please email me promptly, so that we can arrange a mutually satisfactory alternative. If you have purchased more than one item from me in the same time period, I advise you to wait until you receive my invoice, so that I can factor in your combined shipping discount. However, even if you don't, I will refund any savings that might result from your combined shipping discount!
PayPal is the preferred method of payment for both domestic (within the United States) and international (outside the United States) orders. If you don't have a PayPal account, in most countries you can pay with a credit card by registering for a PayPal account at www.paypal.com.
Payments not received within 4 calendar days following the close of an sale will automatically trigger an unpaid item case; unless we have agreed to an alternative arrangement.
I generally offer shipping by the least expensive method available, which can vary by the nature and weight of the item. I do not charge "handling fees," so my shipping charges reflect only my actual out-of-pocket costs for shipping; which includes (the total) of third-party shipping fees, cost for packaging (boxes, packing wrap, etc.) and 's 9% "final value" surcharge on shipping fees. There is no charge for my labor, even if an unusual item requires manual construction of special packaging. I generally offer an alternative for faster shipping as a second choice. If other premium services are desired, please let me know, and I will do my best to accommodate your request. I combine shipping fees on multiple orders. Any customs fees or duties charged by an international buyer's country are the responsibility of the buyer. International buyers (outside of the United States) should send special shipping instructions (if any) to me at the time payment is made. By buying, you are affirming that importation of the materials purchased does not violate any law or regulation of your country.
I ship quickly, usually on the same business day that payment is received and confirmed. I ship securely, with packaging materials designed to ensure that your purchase arrives safely. A previous buyer described my packaging as "bulletproof." Not literally of course, but an indication that I pack my orders to withstand rough handling by shipping services.
Honesty & Communication
I strive to be scrupulously accurate in my product descriptions and my photographs, particularly when it comes to any flaws that a used item might have; to which I call special attention. Every photo is of the actual item being saleed, unless it is expressly labeled "Stock Photo." I use Photoshop to remove color casts or other artifacts of photography, and occasionally to combine multiple views into a single image; but never to hide or obscure flaws in the item. My goal is to make the image look as close as it can to what the naked eye would see.
response is a voluntary part of commerce, but it is a vital tool in establishing relationships of trust between buyers and sellers. I always, and promptly, leave response for buyers who leave response for me. If you should ever have some problem with an order or feel inclined to give response than is other than positive; please contact me first, so that we can achieve a mutually satisfactory resolution.
If you would like to be notified when I list future items similar to the one you purchased, simply include a note, "Add me to your email list," when you make payment.
