One side of this medal shows John the Baptist baptizing Jesus

with the Holy Spirit (in the form of a dove)above Jesus & John,

and the reverse sideshows theNativity- the birth of Jesus. with

Mary and Joseph and Jesus in the manger.

The word above John the Baptist and Jesus translates to

\"Baptism. The word above the Nativity translates to \"Genesis\"-

referring to the \"beginning\", \"birth\",or\"origin\" of Jesus.

This thinmedal measures almost 3/4\" wide by 1\" tall, issmaller

than some medals,andis composed of a base metal.

There is a blue & white striped ribbon attached to the medal.
