Up for sale is a Vintage Cast Iron Lamb Cake Mold, Griswold Mold 866 in two pieces, 921 and 922.

It is in very good condition and would make the perfect cake for a baby shower, birthday party, Easter or Christmas!

This mold was used shortly before I bought it (probably Easter), as there were still tiny pieces of cake in it! I guess it had not been properly greased and floured prior to baking and was not cleaned thoroughly afterwards. I cleaned the cake out with a wooden skewer and oiled it a bit, but suggest going lightly over the inside of the front mold with fine steel wool. I\'m not sure if that\'s really necessary, but it doesn\'t feel quite as smooth as the inside of the back half of the mold.

There is a mark on the front, above the mold number and I have shown this in the pictures. It does not feel like a scratch.
