1.Vintage/antique/oldmeans the item is at least 30 years old and things that are 30 years old smelllike they are 30 years old. I do not wash most of the vintage clothing I am selling.Sometimes an item has a spill on it that I know will come out easily in thewash so I will wash it. Most of the time, however, the clothes and the booksand other items made of fabric or paper are going to smell old. That smellshould be one clue it is truly vintage, and I believe each customer should beable to choose if, and how, they want to clean their item using their preferredmethods.
2.Theseitems are used and may be faded or slightly chipped. They have been lovedbefore and it may show. Please see my photos and read mydescriptions carefully. 3.I’m notan expert in everything vintage. I love to research items and learn the historyof everything from fishing flies to tuxedo shirts. There is a story behind mostof the items I sell. 4.Since theitems I sell are used when I buy them, I cannot guarantee that they come from petor smoke free homes. My home, where the items I buy are stored, issmoke free and has a 25-pound mutt who sleeps most of the day.
