Superb Vintage Wooden Carving of the Goddess Dewi Sri (also known as Nini Puntun). The Goddess of Rice and Fertility / Prosperity. Worshiped in Bali and Java. This is not a new carving. I believe the wood is Teak. Under a magnifier you can see some separation of the tight grain. I believe this would have been carved mid to last quarter of the 20th Century. There are no major dings / chips / or noted defects. Very minor Environmental staining. The figure is approx 14\" tall. Please see all photos for assessment / appraisal. A lovely collectable item.
