Vintage Hand-Carved and Painted Soapstone Hippo and Rhino Sculptures Statues:

Two beautiful small hand-carved and painted soapstone sculptures.
The hippo is a warm terra cotta color with incised lines carved all over. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It stands 1-3/4 inches tall by 2-1/4 inches long by 1 inch wide.
The rhino is multicolored with incised lines for eyes. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, or repairs. It stands 2 inches tall by 4 inches long by 1-1/4 inches wide.
Although these are unmarked, I suspect they are from Kenya because of their design.
