Vintage HAND MADE Jeweled-Satin Lined MARDI GRAS CAPE Lord Shiva 8'.5" X 6'.5"
Straight from New Orleans. Handmade. Date unknown, but clearly vintage.
I had a hard time with taking pictures of this, and really the photos do not do this wonderful artwork justice.
THIS IS A ONE OF A KIND ORIGINAL PIECE OF MARDI GRAS HISTORY.
Sequined, velveteen, (Salmon/Pink) satin lined.
Condition of this piece is NM.
There are absolutely no stains, odors, loose stitching or missing parts.
The cape weighs somewhere between 7 and 8 lbs.
If you were considering this to actually wear...You may need to add something at the top section to attach it around your shoulders.
I originally saw this as perfect wall decor...as art.
Basically, it was purchased and carefully stored.
