Up for offers is this Harman/Kardon T60C turntable. Made in Japan. Serial Number 8201570

The unit comes in the original box with the styrofoam inserts, and includes the owner's manual, the disc stabilizer, and the 45 RPM adaptor. The box is very worn, the flaps of the top are attached with scotch tape, I will ship it out inside a new box.

This is a good looking table with a plastic dust cover and fairly big and heavy. The dimensions are: 17 1/2" wide, x 15" deep, x 5 3/4" tall, and weighs 17 Lbs.

The table is in excellent cosmetic condition with a couple of minor scratches. The dust cover is in fair shape with several scratches, but nothing really ugly.

The turntable plays well, all functions are in working order. This is a totally manual unit, except for the auto-lift function. The cartridge on the unit is an Audio-Technica AT-71, still plays decently.

The counterweight stub was missing when I acquired the turntable. I have installed a stub from another unit; it balances well with the AT-71 cartridge, but if a heavier cart is installed, it could be necessary to install a longer stub.

The platter mat has hardened over the years and has some cracks on the spindle hole, still is very flat and works well. I will include a pliable mat from another unit.

The table will ship with the transit screws in place, please make sure you remove them before use.

• Quartz-Locked Frequency Generator Servo MotorThe T60C motor generates a signal directly related to its rotation. By referencing this signal to that of a quartz oscillator, a servo control circuit assures precise, stable motor speed.
• Auto-lift OperationAs the tonearm reaches the end of a recording, an optical photo-sensor activates the cueing lever and shuts off all power. This feature provides both the sound quality of a manual tonearm and the convenience and protection of automatic-return systems. The auto-lift feature can be manually activated at any time by pressing the cut button.
• Optimum Tracking GeometryThe effective tonearm length, stylus overhang, and offset angle, have been precisely determined to provide the lowest possible harmonic distortion over the total playing area.
• Low Mass Straight TonearmAn effective mass of 8 grams assures excellent tracking with a wide range of medium to high compliance cartridges.
• Capacitance TrimA selector has been provided so that the capacitive load impedance can be adjusted to ensure the optimum cartridge performance.
• Vibration Absorbent Platter Mat and Disc StabilizerA special rubber compound, featuring several thousandths of the rebound coefficient (bounce) of typical rubber, absorb platter vibrations that would normally be transmitted to the record and stylus tip. Used in conjunction with the disc stabilizer, acoustic response and disc jitter are greatly reduced.
