Vintage Herman Ohme Sculptural Chess Game Set 1960 Mid Century Modern Eames era

This is a vintage all original 1960 modernist chess set. Designed by Herman Ohme for the Pacific Game Company that was located in Hollywood California. Set is complete with board. Black and White, mid century sculptural form. Each piece has the 1960 date and are weighted, with brown felt bottoms. Pieces are 2” to 3.5” tall The game board is 15" x 15". Thick, solid, particle board. Game pieces are in very nice condition still. No chips, cracks or repairs. Game board has a couple of tiny rub marks, but still displays well. A rare set to add to any Danish, Mid-century, Modern decor.
