Found at a recent sale is this vintage pair of ceramic dove figurines made by Howard Pierce in very good condition; what i see is a round smooth glaze skip or small nib on the nose of the larger bird. Otherwise, there is no damage or hidden repairs. The birds are brown and beige and the larger bird measures 7 1/4 inches high, 5 1/2 inches wide, and 3 inches deep. The smaller dove measures 6 1/2 inches wide, 4 3/4 inches high and 3 inches deep. The pair are stamped on the bottom and have their original price stickers affixed to the base. Nice additions to a Howard Pierce collection.
