Offered here is a vintage RoyalBavarian serving bowl by Hutschenreuther Selb, Bavaria, Germany. The upperportion serving bowl has an oval 12-sided shape with hand decorated 24 karatgold lace and floral patterns over sage-green, light-ivory and white. It measuresapproximately 10-3/8 by 7-7/8 inches at the top, 6-3/8 by 4-1/4 inches at thebase and is 1-3/4 inch high. The marking on the bowl bottom is the trademark Crown-Lion-Chinasymbol and wording “ROYAL BAVARIAN HutschenreutherSelb BAVARIA, HAND DECORATED 24 KARAT GOLD” as shown in the lastphotograph.

This is exceptional serving bowl in verygood vintage condition with very few visible signs of wear. The only signs ofwear would be to the gold at the bottom of the bowl and at the bowl top outer edges.There are no observed chips or cracks on the bowl. Please refer to thephotographs for details on the conditions of the serving bowl. This has been part of our family’s vintagechina collection for many years.
