You\'re looking at avintage OC Whitelight in excellent working condition. Overall the condition of this lamp is very good with wear commensurate with age including scratches, marks, paint chips etc; which all add to the character and authenticity of the piece. There is a chip out of the edge of the cast iron mount (pic #6) but there is still the partial mount hole there which allows you to securely mount the light to a ceiling. The patent dates are stamped 1882 and 1887. The brass hardware is in good shape, as are the cast iron knuckles. This item has been rewired using era-correct twisted black cord and a new plug. Works perfectly. You will need to cut the plug before hardwiring the light.

The vertical post is approx 10\" long including the mount. The first arm is 48\" long and the last arm, including the socket/ shade is 30.5\" long. The mount itself has a diameter of 5\".
