Vintage Intermittent Brass Alarm Clock Pat 1838 Made In United States For Sale
Vintage Intermittent Brass Alarm Clock Pat 1838 Made in United States
This is a vintage brass alarm clock. Features an unusual style case with 3 peg legs and a star-shaped finial. Measures approximately 7 1/2" tall, with a 4 1/2" diameter face. The face says "Intermittent." There is additional text near the bottom of the face, though it's cut off by the case - appears to read Marswells or Warswells, United States of America. Back of case says "Pat. Nov 29 1838."
clock shows some overall cosmetic wear as a result of age and normal use. Winding mechanism is very difficult to turn, and it does not look as though the clock is running. It is being sold as-is for parts or repair, so please offer accordingly.
