ONE (1) Vintage Inuit (Canadian Arctic Native) Hand CarvedSoapstone Stone Carving. The carving is signed on the bottom with "E91701" (artist disc number). The artist is Isa Kasudluak (Male), born in 1917, from Inukjuak, Quebec. The carving depicts what appears to be agoose or duck. This is an older carving, estimated approx. 1950's - 1960's. The carving measures approx.5"x 1-1/2" x 2-1/4" tall. Weighsapprox.190 grams. The carving is used & inexcellent condition as shown.Has some light scuffs/scratches, which could be oiled or waxed if you felt inclined to do so. The carving has a glossy finish, which is slightly tacky to the touch (possibly from oil or wax). Sold "as-is" (no returns). Please see photos for more details.
