Vintage Winn Engineering
These cabinetsrepresentthe entirestock ofminiaturevalves and fittings that were manufacturedby Romeo Gagne in the 1960s. His company was called Winn Engineering. He saw that it was very hard to find the live steam valves for miniaturesteam engines in the late 1950s and set out to manufacture his own. He died in the 1980s and this what was left in his inventory. This lot has hundreds of individual pieces that are fully manufactured and 100 of pieces that are only partially completed.There are at least 50pcs of fully complete valves in different configurations. Included in this lot are 3 of the original catalogs that outline specifications for the different items including dimensions and pressure specs. Also included are 2 original moulds for casting the valve and fitting bodies and the mechanical blueprints used in their design. The blue prints have been damaged by moisture but some are serviceable.
