VINTAGE JAMES SWANN & SON 1941 9CT GOLD THIMBLE - HONEYCOMB PATTERN:

This is a vintage 9ct gold thimble which stands just over3/4 inch high and weighs4.6 grams. This thimble was made byJames Swann & Son of Birmingham in 1941 and on the rim to one side you can see the British gold hallmarks for Birmingham; the date letter \"R\" for 1941 together withthe 9ct and .375 gold marks and to the other side you can see the thimble size number7 and the initials \"JS & S\" for James Swann & Son. This thimble has an attractive honeycomb pattern to the top and the sides together with a plain rim. The condition is very good - there are no holes to be found - in fact the thimble appears to never have been used - there are no splits, damage or repairs to be found and it is still completely round in shape.
