Description Vintage Japanese Lacquer Flying Cranes Set, Plate and BowlThis a handsome vintage Japnese plate and bowl in deep orange lacquer. Both the bowl and the plate feature flying cranes, each hand painted and each different, The plate has a wonderful gilded border of stylized leaves. The bowl has a gilded border on the interior rim and three fish hand painted on the bottom of the interior. Both pieces are generally in fine condition. On the plate we see a slight indention along the border which appears to have been there before the plate was lacquered. Please supersize our photographs to study condition. Pictures sell!
