The item up for sale is a vintage John Glenn 1984 presidential campaign lithograph button/pin/pinback. John Glenn was the first astronaut to orbit the earth and was a Senator for Ohio. Senator Glenn lost the 1984 democratic primary to Walter Mondale. The button is approximately 1 5/8 inches. The curl states “Political Americana, Asheville, N.C.” The button may have some scuffs and/or scratches.
