Vintage Knights Templar Past Commander Jewel Or Medal: Kedron Commandery No. 382:
This item is a wonderful Masonic Knights Templar jewel or medal for the Past Commander of Kedron Commandery NO. 382. This three-piece jewel is composed ofgold-toned metal with red enamel, and it measures approximately 4-1/2 x 2-7/8." There is no mark for metal content or manufacturer.
The uppermost portion is a pinback bar, with a hinged attachment pin and C-clasp. It is engraved with the name of the Past Commander SIR E. W. RIDENOUR and KEDRON COMD'Y NO. 382. The middle portion, in the shape of an 8-pointed star (or the sun?) has the KT phrase IN HOC SIGNO VINCES circling a raised blood-red "Passion Cross" that is in red enamel. The lowermost portion is a double cross engraved with the words PAST COMMANDERand a decorative design.
This item would be an excellent addition to a display!!!
This very attractive item is in very good, clean condition, with very light wear but no damage. It is a bright gold color, and it remains much brighter than is apparent in the photos. The attachment pin remains strong, as does its C-clasp.
