This 1940s desk chair is a sturdy, vintage piece of furniture. Made of solid oak, the piece features cattail spindles on the back splats and a wide contoured head rest. The arms are unusual - bent and curved in toward the back and then with an iron peg to get them in place. The piece is quite sturdy, with little signs of wear on the wood. There is some staining on the seat but that can be removed with some light sanding. Some of the screws have been replaced and the piece has been touched up through the years to keep it functional. It measures 41 1/2" tall, 22 1/4" wide, 19" deep, and has a seat height of 18 1/2" high.Please consult images, and message with any questions.
