Vintage Late 50s-early 60s Favilla U3 Ukulele W/gigbag:
I want to start by saying that I am in NO WAY a ukulele specialist. I happened upon this and all I know about it is through the research I've done online.
From various forums, online stores, and comparing pictures of similar models, I have what is believed to be a Favilla U3 Soprano Ukulele from sometime between the late 50s-60s. I am a guitar player and I can give you my best description (and hope my pictures do the rest of the talking). Considering that the uke is somewhere in the 50-60 year old range, it is in very good condition. It appears to be solid mahogany, has the white friction fit tuning pegs, inlaid fret markers, and shows little to average wear and weathering. It really is a gorgeous instrument, but my big ol mitts just don't cooperate on such a tiny instrument.
I've seen these selling for anywhere from $175 to upwards of $350, but I'm just looking to get a fair price out of it and make sure it goes to a good home.
