Here areLefton Thumbelina or Honey Bun Salt & Pepper Shakers! In Lefton\'s 1964 catalogue, this gal was called \"Honey Bun\" but its more recognizable name is Thumbelina. How that came about, I don\'t know.These are numbered1711 on the bottom and were manufactured in Japan.OneHoney Bun has her eyes open while the other\'s eyes are closed. They still have that adorable face and are topped with a spray of yellow flowers.They measure approximately 2-1/2\" tallx 2-1/4\" in diameter andare in absolutely pristine condition with no chips, cracks or crazing whatsoever---a very rare condition for something of this age! The only \"flaw\" may be that theoriginal cork stoppersare intact but somewhat dehydrated. Wouldn\'t you be if you were over 60 years without a drink?! If you don\'t already collect Lefton items, these may be just the thing to get you started!!!
