Most of our items are consignment or come from estate sales, sales, etc. You will receive the item in the condition we get them in. It might be in need of light cleaning, or a little dust in crevices. Please inspect all photos we provide. We usually state any imperfections in the description.  All of our items are from smoke free homes unless otherwise specified in the description.

  • Payment due 5 days after sale close unless we discussed other options. Due to the increasing amount of non-paying buyers, unpaid cases will be opened after 5 days if there is no payment or response to SHIPPING:  We do combine shipping on multiple items, please add items to cart or request a revised invoice after purchasing prior to BUSINESS DAY:  Typically all of our packages will go out the next business day. Most Weekend purchases will ship the following We currently use the Global Shipping Program to ship Worldwide. We have no control over the shipping amount charged, nor am I able to view the charges.     • LOST IN TRANSIT?:  If your purhcase doesn't arrive on time or shows "in transit: but is possibly lost, we will not send a refund until 21 days after the ship date. This is how long I must wait before filing a claim and USPS will consider the package "Lost"  Packages most always appear and usually it is after we have issued refunds and never received repayment or the item. This protects both the buyer and the seller, giving the issue a time to resolve itself.

        A crazy cat lady who has a love for treasure hunting, comes up with this brilliant idea to name a
        business after her orange cat, and make him CEO!
        I know what you're thinking, she's kidding right? Nope, I am not.  Piglet's Closet was founded in 2014.  We are a growing store with over 5,000 items in inventory.  Located primarily in Madison, WI, we travel all around the country looking for treasures and bring them to you!
        
        Ready for the most important piece? I bet you are.  Piglet.  Piglet is a middle aged terror of a cat.  He breaks things on purpose, and is a really terrible CEO if you want me to be honest about it.  He likes to chew things, and not show up to scheduled meetings. Somehow he handles all the business decisions, and won't allow me to fire him, so that's that.  (just kidding, he really is a terror, but we would never dethrone him)


        We have three other executives on board here at Piglet's Closet. 
        "Rumples" ( also known as "Stinky") handles the logistics of shipping and processing.
        "Fe Fe La Rue" is another snotty cat, who handles our accounting. (She is also terrible)
        "Meatball" Currently handles social media when she isn't busy chewing everything in sight, including the wall. She needs a little more training!

    Q. Do you combine shipping?

    A. We will always combine shipping charges. Most items range from $.50 -$2.00 each additional item depending on size, and the Buyers: The global shipping program does not allow combined shipments, but I am happy to combine and quote shipping and not use the GSP.


     Q. What services do you use to ship, and do you include tracking?

    A.  We primarily ship through USPS. We also use FedEx and UPS when it is more cost effective. All our packages are sent with tracking. Even items that are 1 ounce, that we could easily put a stamp on, we are required by to provide tracking numbers. 


    Q. Do you ship worldwide and how do I receive a price quote?

    A. We ship worldwide. We use the Global Shipping Program, to protect us and send the packages with full What is your return policy?

    A. We have a 30 day return policy. Buyer pays return shipping, and a 10% restocking fee. If you received a damaged item, or the incorrect item, please contact us before starting a return as we handle those a little differently.

     

    Q. What types of payment do you accept?

    A. We primarily accept PayPal. Credit and Debit cards can be processed through PayPal without you having an existing account.

    A. You can message us through at any time, we usually respond within an hour or so.

     

    Q.  Are all your items smoke free? Where do they come from?

    A.  Most of our items are located via sales, estate sales, consignment, and store closing inventory. We do not buy items from smoke Environments or if they carry any odor. It is safe to say 99% of my store is smoke free, and the 1% that is not, is stated in the listing clearly.

     

    Q. Who is Piglet and why did you name a business after him?

    A.  Piglet is our Orange cat who needed a business venture, we made him CEO.


    Q. What if I received the wrong item or the item arrives damaged?

    A.  Mistakes happen! Please contact us before leaving negative response or starting a return for a damaged or mistaken item. Please message me, and we can decide on next steps. For insurance claims we need photos of the damaged item, and we will provide a return shipping label, and refund payment. If we sent the wrong item, I will get the correct one out, and send prepaid postage for the incorrect item.
