Vintage Liberty African Marigold

Vintage Liberty African Marigold Fabric

Liberty William Morris Arts & Crafts furnishing fabric originally designed in 1876 but this one adapted by Liberty circa 1980.

The fabric is a good quality linen union which is as new, clean and unused. The pattern and colouring are particularly beautiful in this weight - the little coral pink marigolds on a dark green ground being secondary to the much larger, pale shaded tulips or magnolia blossom (not sure which) and the toning pale blue green acanthus like foliage.

My magnifying glass is 2\" (5cm) in diameter to help with the scale.

This listing is for a 4 yard long x 53\" wide length, to be sold in half yards. If more than one half yard is ordered the fabric will be sent as a single, uncut length.
