Vintage Los Angeles Pottery Cookie " Cookies " Jar With Lid For Sale
Up for offers is a nice art pottery cookie jar with cookies all over thesides and a walnut on the lid for a knob. The cookie jar is not marked but I have seen these jarsbeing advertised as being made by theLos Angeles Pottery Company. It is in very nice condition with no stainsbut does have a small glaze chip orpop and a very tight crack on the pink heart cookie as I have tried to picture. Italso hasall over crazingwhich I found to be common on these cookie jars.The cookie jar stands 9 1/2" tall with the lid on, is 6" wide across the top rim and is 8" wide across the middle. Overall this is a very nice vintage cookie jar with nice bright colors and would look great in any kitchen. I remember my mom having one of thesesitting on the kitchen counter when I was a kid. It wasalways filled with homemade cookies.
