Vintage Lot of 9 TIN FRICTION CARS Cragstan Marusan Ambulance Police Patrol This is your chance to own a great lot of 9 vintage tin friction cars!
This lot includes:
2 trucks (1 red & black, 1 orange/yellow)
2 race cars (1 #5 silver/red, 1 #7 silver/blue)
1 red roadster
1 Ambulance car
2 Police cars (1 "Radio-Patrol," 1 "Patrol")
1 Fire Department "Chief" car
6 of the tin cars are marked by the company "Cragstan," while one of the Police patrol cars ("Radio-Patrol") is marked by "Marusan." The other cars are unmarked.
The 6 Cragstan cars each measure 4” long and is no taller than 1.25”. All 6 have only minor signs of play wear, and each retains their original shape and color with no major defects or paint flaws. The Marusan "Radio-Patrol" car measures just shy of 7” long and stands just over 2.25” tall. It has only minor wear and still features great color & shine. It features 2 front friction motor wheels, which are connected to 2 flint wheels for the machine guns at the front windshield (the flint is missing, so they do not spark when the wheels turn). The other Police car measures 6" long x 2.5" wide and has a small crank at the back bumper for winding. It shows some light play wear. The final car - the F.D. Chief car - measures only 3.5" long x 1.5" wide, and the back wheels have spun around inside the tin casing. It shows some moderate paint & play wear.
