Anri CarvedKnitting Woman by Italian MK Kaslatter. I found that this is a hard-to-findAnri piece caved by master Italian carver M.K. Kaslatter, a lady carver. Sheonly sculpted a few pieces for Anri so this is a relatively rare piece of Anri.

She measuresabout 7 ½” tall including the base. She is about 3 ¾”. She is in wonderfulcondition with a nice patina. And the is absolutely stunning and so detailed,everything from the strands of her hair to the fringe of her shawl, her fingersand the folds of her skirt. Just wonderful.

Colors: she hasa black dress with little flowers on the back and front. A whiteish blouse andnatural color apron, a little burgany highlights. Her shawl is tan, with alittle red and green decoration. Her hair is light brown with some gray, hasbraids coiled in the back with a black headband and some other ornaments in herhair. She is wearing gold hoop earrings and is sitting on what looks like ahope chest or dowry chest with wonderful tole painted decorations.M. K. Kaslatter is carved on the back of it. The base is covered with brownfelt but the Anri sticker is gone. There is a number 82109 label. I believe it is pre 1952. She probablyoriginally had some kind of knitting needles but these were gone when Ipurchase her. I accept PayPal and ship in the USA only. Thank you for checking on this wonder carving.
