Here is a Beautiful Vintage Mid Century Rustic Italian Country Art Pottery pitcher with a Majolica Glaze and a Hand Painted lemon on each side, hanging from a branch of green leaves, and dating, I believe, to the 1970\'s or earlier.

This Majolica Glaze Pitcher is very rustic country with its many glaze misses and crackle finish. The crackle finish is mainly on the inside of the pitcher and the glaze misses are scattered over the rim and the body of the pitcher, which give it its rustic look. There is also an ice lip which holds back the ice when pouring. The pitcher measures 8 inches tall. It is signed Italy on the bottom. It is a wonderful piece of Italian Art Pottery and is in excellent condition. Lots and Lots of pictures.
