Vintage italian Murano Sommerso art glass vase standing 8.5 cms tall. Very good condition, square base, diameter 4.5 cms and top diam 7 cms. Tiny nibble or two to inner top edge, difficult to photograph and also very small, (could not get a clear image), nibble to bottom edge and one top corner. These are very tiny nibbles and go completely unnoticed when in use / on display and mentioned only for accuracy of condition report.Flat polished faceted sides. From the Mondruzzato factory famous for producing glassware with these flat planes giving this attractive shaping. Original gold sticker.Thick walled and heavy. This piece features a clear outer section encasing a mostly vivid red, juicy and bright inner with a gold / yellow halo of colour layered in between these layers.
