Vintage mens Elgin wrist watch. Has an American made 27 jewel caliber 761 automatic mechanical movement. Crystal shows almost no wear(see pics). The linen dial shows light age and wear with a few marks towards the center(see pics). The 10k rolled gold plate case shows light wear with some scratches(see pics). The band is like new(see pics). The watch head is 34.5mm wide counting the crown. Watch starts to run with winding/rotation. Not tested for time keeping or continuing to run

Vintage watches as a whole are generally smaller than modern watches. A men\'s watch from the 40\'s for example is usually close to the size of modern ladies watches. That is why I list the dimensions of the watch head in the description above. If you are not familiar with the metric system, divide the above numbers by 25.4 and that will be your inch equivalent. Please take a moment to check that measurement and make sure that is a size you will be ok with.
