Really nice older Mexican blanket
hand loomed in two pieces and lightly stitched together
Measuring 56 by 74 inches excluding the fringe - blanket weight - not as heavy or dense as a rug
Brought to this country in the early 1930\'s and dating a bit earlier than that. Most likely from Southern Mexico - the pattern often repeated usually without the purple striping at the ends.
The central stitching is loose and missing some stitches, one stain only showing on one side and a number of small holes - one repair to the edge
