Vintage New York Meyer hard rubber tenor saxophone mouthpiece. It is a size 9, with a medium chamber.

This mouthpiece boasts a full, woody sound. It is easy to play throughout the horn, especially in the low register. The sound of this mouthpiece is right in the center; not too bright or too dark, and provides a centered, focused tone.
This is a near mint example of a New York USA Meyer tenor mouthpiece. It has beautiful facing work, thin rails. It’s a flexible, clean-sounding do-it-all tenor mouthpiece that you can use for all kinds of playing. It’s easy to play and responsive, medium between dark and bright. Fun to play! Owned and played by a Juilliard School graduate student.
